Company History

Southeastern Architectural Woodworks was incorporated in 1978 as a service provider for the custom commercial contracting industry. Originally, we provided rough and finish carpentry for restaurant and re-modeling contractors. Over the years we began to focus on the fabrication and installation of custom architectural millwork. In 1988 SAW built it’s first building that was principally a custom millwork fabrication shop. It was a slow process, but within 10 years we had added enough space and accumulated enough equipment to be able to compete successfully on large volume projects. SAW quickly became the provider of choice through our commitment to quality products provided, finished and installed in accordance with the general contractor’s schedule. Our participation in the Architectural Woodworkers Institute and our abilities to lend valuable input to the project specifiers and designers also helped to enable SAW to reach the highest levels in customer confidence in the industry.

In early 2006 we were approached by several of our general contractor customers regarding furnishing residential style cabinetry for their multi-family and retirement facility projects. Since we did not have a residential style cabinet in our family of projects, SAW began the long tedious project of developing a residential product that represented the level of quality and value that we are known for. It has taken over 2 years to successfully complete this task but we have done it!

We are proud to announce the addition of the BCD line of residential cabinets. It is a wonderful combination of style and value. Our BCD cabinets combine a mixture of imported and domestically produced cabinets that are second to none. Our BCD cabinets have both beautiful finishes and the durability of all plywood interior components. The customer who is looking for a beautiful cabinet with a long service life and terrific value needs to  look no further. Check us out and I’m sure you will agree.
